Fisher Investments has grown significantly during the last decade, the company’s structure is designed to facilitate continued expansion

What I like best about working at Fisher Investments is the overall business model—all the strategies that we have as a firm—working in a dynamic environment with dynamic people. It’s a very challenging environment. I think an entry-level person’s first year would differ from other investment firms in the fact that they would take on more responsibility sooner and would quickly learn and get up to speed probably faster than they think they would.

The most important part of our business is the human capital that we build on a daily basis. Ken Fisher and the Investment Policy Committee do a fantastic job at managing the portfolio. But, internally, if we’re not building a foundation for the future to grow on, we’re going to be finding ourselves behind the curve. So, we encourage employees to get involved in different programs where that they can actually look at different departments. I’ve been here going on 7 years and I’m most proud of the fact that we’re given an opportunity to make a difference in the firm. We don’t look at this as, “how long have you been here”? We look at this more as, “What can you produce for the firm”? And, we’re given the opportunity to really run and showcase our talents.
